School Medical Policies
Medication Reminders:
Parents, all medication must be brought into the clinic by the parent, guardian or other responsible adult and cannot be sent with the student or taken home with the student. Written Doctor's Request form must be filled out before I can give out any medication. The medication must have your child's name on it and be in the original container and within the expiration date on the medication bottle. No over-the-counter medication can be given unless ordered per Doctor.
Emergency Cards:
Please call us when you get new phone numbers. When we have emergencies, we will use those numbers for calling the parent/guardian.
Rolling Backpacks:
No rolling backpacks for students.
Extra Clothes:
Please put extra clothes (shirt, socks, underwear, shorts or skirt) in your child's backpacks for accidents. This is a very common occurrence for Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
Health Screenings:
In the Fall, we will have hearing and vision screenings for potential health problems.
Health concerns:
Please let the school nurse know of any changes in health with new medications or diagnoses.
